ATHENS VIDEO ART FESTIVAL 08

The highly acclaimed Transmediale Festival will be present at Athens Video Art Festival 08, continuing its collaborative relationship with Athens Video Art Festival for the third consecutive year.

On Friday 11th of April at 19:30, its Program Manager Mr. Thomas Munz will talk about Transmediale and present a selection of the best videos that were screened at this year’s event.

Under the motto CONSPIRE..., transmediale.08 sought to examine dubious worlds of storytelling and remote opinion making, to look critically at the means of creative conspiratorial strategies, and use these to uncover new forms of expression and digital discourse.

The transmediale.08 video selection consists of a number of outstanding video works that were presented in the 2008 edition of the festival and aims to give a wide-ranging insight into the dimensions of current artistic video production in form and content.

The presentation is held with the kind support of the Goethe Institut.
